GYFL is the presiding authority of the league. Changes in the day-to-day operations of the member communities and teams are subject to the oversight and final approval of the League’s Executive Board. Rules of GYFL are rules and regulations of the GYFL Executive Board, reputable handbooks, the National Federation of State High School (NFHS) Rule Book, and the Georgia High School Sports Association (GHSSA) rules and guidelines. The League’s Executive Board has the right to interpret, add, amend, revoke, suspend, or delete any rule contained herein, in the spirit of fair competition at any time.
