About Us

The Georgia Youth Football League is a faith-based non-profit organization consisting of flag football, tackle football and cheer associations located throughout the metropolitan state of Georgia. GYFL utilize football combined with a Christ-centered environment. We focus on three core areas – academics, life-skills, and athletics. GYFL is governed by a Executive Board, and Executive Officer’s that have adopted governing rules which subscribes to the principles of safety, sportsmanship, and full participation.

MISSION
The Georgia Youth Football League, Inc. (GYFL) is an Christ-centered athletic league dedicated to organizing and conducting a competitive football and cheerleading environment for our youth.

VISION
GYFL will be recognized as the premier youth football and cheerleading league throughout the state of Georgia.

GYFL will be the standard by:
 - The integrity of our member associations;
 - Promoting Safety First in all athletic endeavors
 - Our success on and off the field; and,
 - Sportsmanship in our coaches, parents, players, and cheerleaders.

PURPOSE
The purpose of this GYFL is to provide a wholesome and faith-based environment for the benefit of children throughout the state of Georgia.

We do so in the following ways:
 - To uphold the principles of its Constitution and Bylaws;
 - To comply with the standards of youth athletics;
 - To maintain fiscal management; and,
 - To cooperate with other recreational athletic organizations to promote youth athletics.
